The BFC is the second owner of this aircraft.  N388ES was the Sporty's 1997 sweepstakes plane.  The club currently utilizes this aircraft as our primary trainer.  This plane is a workhorse and was upgraded with a 180 hp engine to make it functionally equivalent to the clubs other 172S model.
